Every woman’s healing journey looks different.
This work isn’t about following a strict process, it’s about meeting you exactly where you are.
The Inner Shift Method is a six-phase framework that adapts to each woman’s unique needs and pace. It’s grounded in counselling principles, somatic awareness, and nervous-system regulation, but it’s also shaped by lived experience.
I’ve walked through the significant loss, the grief, the guilt, and the disconnection myself. Everything I teach, I’ve tried, tested, and lived through, so I understand the courage it takes to start again and how hard it can be to begin, and I honour that by moving at the pace your heart, body, and mind are ready for. It is completely attuned to you.
This isn’t about perfection or performance.
It’s about creating safety within your body so you can finally exhale, soften the noise, and come home to yourself, one gentle step at a time.
Phase 1 - Grounding Into Safety
We can’t begin to heal if we don’t feel safe, so we begin by slowing everything down.
Not to fix, but to breathe fully again.
Together, we create space to exhale. We slow down enough for your nervous system to start trusting that it no longer needs to be in fight, flight, or freeze all the time and to help your body remember that it’s safe to rest, that you don’t have to stay “on” all the time.
When you’ve been living in survival mode, your system needs reassurance that it’s safe to rest again.
We bring gentle awareness back to the body. We’ll explore how you’re body communicates with you, the signs of activation, shutdown, or overstimulation, and begin to rebuild your internal safety system.
As your body begins to trust stillness again, we slowly build small rituals that help you feel anchored even when life feels unsteady.
This is the space where we create that safety you’re body requires, one anchored breath at a time.
This phase is about remembering that calm isn’t something you chase, it’s something you cultivate within.
Focus: nervous-system education, creating moments of calm, gentle awareness, grounding rituals, learning to feel safe in your body again.
Phase 2 - Gentle Reflection & Awareness
Together, we begin noticing what’s working and what isn’t: the thought patterns, habits, and expectations that keep you running on empty.
Are they supporting the woman you’re becoming, or keeping you stuck in survival mode?
This phase is about creating awareness & soft reflection. We begin identifying small, realistic refinements that help you feel more in control and can gently bring more calm and clarity, because even the tiniest changes or mindset shifts, practiced often, create lasting transformation.
You’ll start creating new habits that feel nourishing rather than overwhelming, tiny steps that, over time, form the foundation for deeper healing and self-trust.
Focus: gentle reflection, reflection, identifying stress patterns, realistic refinements, cultivating curiosity.
Phase 3 - Emotional Release & Regulation
When your body feels a little steadier, we can begin to listen inward and we can begin to clear the emotional residue that’s been living in your body.
Grief, guilt, shame, resentment, all the emotions you’ve learned to suppress to keep going.
As safety grows, emotions that have been held in the body finally have space to move.
This phase supports that release, gently and safely, and only when you are ready.
This isn’t about going back into the past, it’s about getting curious about your present and beginning to listen to the bodies whispers.
We explore your habits, rhythms, and thought patterns with compassion. Together, we start noticing what’s draining your energy and what brings you peace. From there, we make small, achievable refinements that begin to shift your daily experience, tiny acts of self-respect that quietly rebuild your self-trust.
You’ll learn how to meet your feelings without being overwhelmed by them, and how to come back to calm when life feels heavy.
It’s not about erasing emotion, it’s about building capacity to hold it with compassion.
Focus: safe emotional expression, self-regulation, body awareness, compassionate processing.
Phase 4 - Reframing & Reclaiming
Now that the old stories have softened, we start rewriting the inner dialogue.
Here we look at your mindset, language, and daily patterns, shifting from “what’s wrong with me?” to “what’s ready to grow?”.
We cultivate emotional regulation, self-trust, and new ways of responding that feel grounded rather than reactive.
Many women live in constant doing, holding everything together, never pausing to rest.
In this phase, we practice the art of surrender, not as giving up, but as letting go of what no longer serves.
We explore the difference between control and stability, and how trying to manage every outcome often keeps us disconnected. Through simple grounding, breath, and sensory awareness, you learn to create small pockets of stillness where your body can recalibrate.
Through gentle conversation and support, we start to reframe those stories into truths that empower rather than limit you.
This is where you begin reclaiming your power and remembering your ability to choose differently. Instead of reaching outside of yourself, you remember how to listen from within.
Focus: rest, release, surrender, self-trust, mindset awareness, language shifts, self-compassion, daily regulation rituals.
Phase 5 - Integration & Reconnection
Healing becomes real when you start to notice it in you’re everyday life.
You’ll learn how to stay connected to your body’s cues and put up gentle but firm boundaries that you begin to honor without guilt.
We begin to integrate what you’ve learned into how you move through the world, your relationships, routines, and self-care.
We explore how to feel without being consumed.
Through gentle, trauma-informed somatic techniques, we allow the energy of emotion to pass through instead of getting stuck.
We strengthen new habits that support emotional steadiness and explore what balance feels like for you personally.
It’s not about doing more; it’s about doing what matters, in ways that feel sustainable for you.
As you reconnect with your body and your inner world, you begin to notice small moments of joy, clarity, and peace returning.
You’ll begin to understand that regulation isn’t about always feeling calm, it’s about knowing how to bring yourself back when life feels heavy.
Focus: embodiment, boundaries, daily regulation, sustainable rhythm, self compassion through discomfort.
Phase 6 - Embodiment & Expansion
This final phase is where the work becomes your new way of being.
You’ll learn how to maintain regulation, trust your intuition, and move forward with confidence and clarity.
We look at the old stories that have shaped you - “I’m not enough,” “I have to do it all,” “I can’t rest”, and begin to reframe them with truth and gentleness.
You start to recognise your resilience, your growth, and your capacity for change.
This is where mindset work meets heart work, not positive thinking, but honest listening to your heart rooted in self-compassion.
You’ll learn how to maintain regulation through change, trust your intuition, and continue choosing from your values rather than fear or reactiveness and have rebuilt, this time from the inside out.
Focus: self-leadership, integration, mindset awareness, self-compassion, intuitive decision-making, living from the heart.

Every woman’s experience is unique. This journey isn’t about becoming someone new, it’s about remembering who you already are. That person you may not have connected with in quite a while.
Each phase meets you exactly where you are, at the pace that your body and heart are ready for. These phases aren’t rigid steps, they’re a map we return to and move between as needed.
This work is about remembering your own wisdom, rebuilding your sense of safety, and learning to steady within, so the rest of life can flow from there.
Every part of this method is fully customisable. This is just a basic outline so you can get a feel for the momentum you will be embarking on should you choose to step into this sacred container with me.
My work is deeply based on lived experience, not only have I walked through the fire and come out the other side, I have tried and tested all of my modalities and tools on myself so I can guide you more deeply and effectively as I know how it feels to live in fight-or-flight, to lose yourself, and to slowly find your way back.
The goal is never perfection, it’s presence. Sometimes that can feel so foreign or far away if it has been a while since you sat with yourself and asked your body for it’s input.
And yet, from that steady, regulated space, everything can begin to shift.
Together, we move gently through each week at your pace, allowing healing to unfold in the way your body and heart are ready for.

🌿 What to Expect
Each session is a gentle space to reconnect body, mind, and heart.
We work with what’s present, not forcing, not rushing - simply allowing what’s ready to unfold.
Together, we explore practices such as somatic awareness, EFT tapping, breathwork, sound healing,
guided journaling, meditation & gentle breaths, and nervous system regulation techniques.
Every session is shaped by your unique needs, meeting you exactly where you are.
You’ll learn to recognise when your body is in fight-or-flight and how to soften that response through small, consistent rituals of care, helping you find steadiness and safety from within.
Sessions are held primarily online via Zoom, with the option for in-person appointments and walk & talk nature sessions (depending on availability).
This work isn’t about fixing or striving, it’s about listening.
Each session unfolds at the pace your heart and body are ready for.
